Stakeout Studios is a 1700 square foot spacious dual studio complex in which sessions move between our comprehensively networked fantastic sounding rooms. We use the unique properties of the rooms to best suit what you are recording. Feel free to contact the Studio Manager and arrange a tour of our facilities!
The studios feature a fine selection of the best microphone preamps and compressors into state of the art Apogee conversion and Pro Tools systems. This combines the best of analog and digital worlds. Both studios feature natural light as well as carefully considered electric lighting for non-fatiguing long sessions.
While the studios share a kitchen, both have separate lounge areas with computer games and TVs to allow people space away from the recording session.
Studio A »
Studio A is our spacious 30 square meter 'live' room. It has a sought after 16 foot ceiling and carefully tailored custom-build acoustics for great sounding drums, strings, brass and other instruments. It also features an additional isolation room for alternative acoustics or additional separation.
Studio B »
Studio B is our intimate vocal tracking environment. These rooms are designed as 'dry' spaces with excellent visuals from Control B into Live B, the vocalist and producer can really focus on the production. The rooms lend themselves to tight bass, cutting guitars and all manner of excellent overdubs.
